Lifting badly eroded historic masonry safely away from the structure.
Recording & Rebuilding
The octagonal turrets and carved parapets were recorded, measured and individually templated before dismantling commenced. Each stone was assessed, repaired or replaced where necessary before the masonry was accurately rebuilt.

Complex Masonry & Carving
The repair of the carved parapets, tracery and octagonal turrets required complex setting out and the hand carving of bespoke replacement stones. Each new piece was worked to match the original masonry before being integrated into the rebuilt structure.
The timber former holds the geometry as the turret is rebuilt.

Traditional Lime Repairs
The repaired masonry was repointed using traditional hot-mixed lime mortars before shelter coats were applied to exposed stonework. These traditional materials and techniques provide long-term protection while remaining compatible with the historic fabric.
